Memory Jar Idea!

Hello everyone! I thought i'd share with you today a fun idea that you can do at home to really help remember all the great things you have done in the year! I did this throughout 2014 so then on 1st January 2015 i could tip out the contents and read about all the things i did, enjoyed and achieved. I think it is the perfect way to start a new year!

All you need for this is any kind of jar and some paper to write on your memories. When you have had a good day, a LOL moment or something you just want to make sure you remember about the year pop it in to your jar. Then on the 1st January 2015 you can read them all and maybe it will make you think "actually i had a really good year".

So if you fancy doing this grab a jar and start filling it! Keep it up throughout the year and then at the beginning of next year you will have an awesome set of memories to reflect on!

Let me know what you think of this idea and if you think you might give it a go!

Thanks for reading Xx

  13. I done this in 2013 and lasted until around the middle of February. Its such a lovely idea and takes virtually no time at all. With things like this though I always have a tendency to write a diary/ step by step guide of my day rather than a memory or happy thought. I guess I'm just odd like that lol.

  18. This is such a sweet idea, I might have to start one now! In 2014, I had a jar that I filled with my spare change - so all my 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p coins - and at the end of the year I counted it all up and gave the money to charity! Just another idea for creating positivity over the year :) x
