Spring Lips!

Today i thought i'd do a Spring inspired post, as judging by the Easter eggs on shelves and daffodils blooming i would say it is fast approaching us! For me, my go to Spring lip is always a soft and quite sheer pink so i have picked 5 of my absolute favourites that just work so well!



MAC's Creme Cup - This is the perfect nude shade for me! I would call this a soft pink nude that definitely does not look like the dreaded concealer-lips. It is a cremesheen formula so it is really moisturising and has a lovely glossy finish which suits the season so well!

MAC's Lovelorn - I have so much love for this colour. It is simply the most gorgeous sheer pink colour that suits any occasion and is so subtle and elegant!

Clinique's Woppin' Watermelon - Once you get past the funny name you will find that this colour is perfect as a very subtle balm. It can be easily applied, and as the colour is very minimal you could definitely apply it with no mirror. I think this is a great product to have in your handbag!

Revlon's Strawberry Shortcake - This one is a fairly light pink that has good opacity and is very moisturising. It also has a lovely glossy finish so there is no need to apply lip gloss too!

Maybelline's Pink Shock - I love Baby Lips but i find that they don't really have the colour pigmentation that i want. However, this one definitely does! I love that it works so well at keeping your lips in great condition but also provides a lovely sheer fuschia colour that would look great throughout Spring! This one is really affordable too, so i definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

    I love Woopin' Watermelon and every summer I think of buying Lovelorn but never do. Might finally pick it up this year, along with Please Me, which is another great pink for S/S. x

    I have wanted mac creme cup for ages and love the clinique balms I use them nearly everyday, such pretty & perfect colours for spring and even to brighten up winter xx

    Whoppin' Watermellon is my favourite go-to lip product, I like to combine it with a MAC lip pencil in the shade Dervish as it is close to my natural lip colour!
