Wanderlust!

Hi guys, if anybody is even still out there (i know it's been a LONG time).

I became very lost and de-motivated with my blog, and ended up just quitting really. But the past couple of years i've done a fair amount of travelling and thought that maybe i could inject some life back into this dusty old blog, and share some photos and tips that i've learnt throughout my travels.

My dream is to visit 30 countries before i'm 30. I'm currently 21 and have so far visited 24 countries with 3 more on the way in the next few months.. so i'm doing fairly well!

I visited my first foreign continent this year, as i'm used to just being in my home continent of Europe and i had such a fab time in the USA! New York is a place i have always dreamt of visiting and it lived up to every single expectation. So that's definitely going to be my first re-invigorated blog post! (stay tuned for that)

So that's all from me for now, and hopefully you will be hearing a lot more from me very soon!

Ciao :D xx

LUSH Haul November 2017!

I'm rather excited today to show you a few of my latest Lush purchases! There's nothing i enjoy more in my bath than a Lush bath bomb, no other bath bomb compares! However as well as some classic bath bombs, i also have a couple of melts and a shower gel to try! Take a look at what I picked up.

Bubbly Shower Gel - A mix of orange and lime oils help to brighten, uplift and cleanse the skin. I love the smell of this shower gel, it's the perfect citrus and Christmas infusion.

Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb - A gentle lavender scented bath bomb which soothes and calms. This is a lovely staple bath bomb to keep in when you need a really good chill out in the bath.

Dreamtime Bath Melt - With a mix of chamomile oil, shea butter and lavender oil you can imagine that this is the perfect concoction to send you off to sleep.

Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb - This honey scented bath bomb is a treat for the eyes as well as the nose. It's glittery and colourful and everything I want in a bath bomb! It's very softening and refreshing.

Pumpkin Bath Bomb - I picked this up around Halloween as i love pumpkin pie. The scent did not disappoint, with a mix of vanilla and cinnammon and leaves your bath a gorgeous orange colour.

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb - This is my favourite Christmas bath bomb, it is such a colourful treat and smells incredible. I look forward to this one every year!

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt - I love the scent of this bath melt, it's sweet and leaves your water the colour of candyfloss. What more could i want? It also soothes and softens the skin.

Let me know what your favourite Lush product is! Have you tried any of the ones i picked up?

Halloween Milkshake Recipe!

Hi Everyone! As Halloween is almost upon us i thought i would share one of my favourite recipes for this time of year! This Strawberry milkshake is really flavoursome and can be made as gruesome as you like!

You will need:
- A handful of strawberries
- Two scoops of vanilla ice cream
- Milk (to taste, depending on the thickness you would like)
- A dessert spoon of strawberry jam
- Gruesome toppings (such as Jelly worms, halloween sprinkles or I like to add extra chopped strawberries and a dollop of jam).

Blend all the ingredients together and add them to your favourite halloween cup. I love this skull mason jar from Home Bargains which was only 89p! They have so many amazing affordable halloween decorations in there at the moment. I also love their Halloween candle which smells amazing and is only £2.99 for a large Yankee Candle style jar.

Let me know your favourite Halloween treats!

Colourpop Haul | Liquid Lipstick Heaven!

I finally bit the bullet and did a Colourpop order, trying to put the customs cost and shipping out of my mind. Ignorance is bliss!

Because of shipping I thought i may as well get all of the colours i want, rather than being stingy and wanting to buy more later on. So i ended up with 8 liquid lipsticks, a highlighter and an eyebrow pencil which i think is a really good introduction to Colourpop for me. I always knew i would love the liquid lippies, so just thought i'd throw in a couple of other products to give them a test too.

When i initially opened up the parcel, i did look at the lipsticks and think have i just bought the same shade 8 times?! They look so similar in the tube, but actually were surprisingly very different on the lips!

Left to right: Times Square, Littlestitious, Viper, Beeper, Trap, Midi, Lumiere 2, Solow, Smokin' Whistles Highlighter, Dope Taupe Brow pencil.

The lipsticks are dreamy. They stay all day, they are beautiful shades and so pigmented! Obviously they can be a bit drying, but a good lip balm underneath really helps to prime the lips. My favourite shades are Times Square and Midi as they are just the most beautiful nude shades. Viper and Lumiere 2 were not the colours i expected, however maybe it will take me out of my comfort zone for once!

As for the highlighter, i feel i didn't choose the right shade for my skin tone as it was quite difficult to choose online. As i'm very pale, this was a little too golden and orangey for me, however maybe it will work with a tan. It also has an odd consistency, it's hard to pick up on a makeup brush as it's almost a wet, creamy texture. It's best applied with the finger in my opinion.

The eyebrow pencil is again too warm toned for me, which i didn't expect as it's called Dope Taupe, i figured it would be quite taupey and cool. But it does fill in sparse areas really well and is so affordable.

What do you think of my choices? Have you bought anything from Colourpop?

Let me know in the comments!

MAC Lipstick Collection!

It's time to share one of my little addictions. Lipsticks. I cannot stop buying them, and as soon as i see a really nice colour on someone, i mentally take a note of the brand and shade ready to purchase it. Unfortunately one of my favourite brands at the moment is MAC, which are £15 each :( So far i have 6, which isn't too extreme, but it is continually growing. So here they are:

From left to right:
Lovelorn (Lustre) - This is such a beautiful neutral pink. It's very moisturising and glossy, but that does mean you have to re-apply it often.

Creme Cup (Cremesheen) - For me, this is the perfect pink nude. You could wear this for any occasion and it looks beautiful. It's very moisturising and has a lovely shiny finish.

Brave (Satin) - I love this as it's a my-lips-but-better colour, and is the perfect lipstick for any makeup look!

Rebel (Satin) - This is the most beautiful Autumn/Winter shade and would look amazing on all skin tones.

Pink Nouveau (Satin) - I love this bubblegum shade, it's such a barbie pink and lasts on your lips so well!

Velvet Teddy (Matte) - This is such a talked about lipstick. Practically every youtuber/blogger owns this, and i couldn't miss out on this bandwagon. I didn't actually expect to love it as much as i do, but it is actually my favourite lipstick that i own! It is the most stunning nude, and makes your lips look so full and works with any makeup look.

What do you think of my shades? Also let me know your favourite MAC lipstick because I love finding new ones!

What's in my Graze box?!

I've just jumped on the bandwagon that is Graze and i was beyond excited when my first box slipped through the door the other day! Food and surprises are just two of the greatest things, so combine them together and it's a pretty great day when a box arrives through the post.

I feel like I haven't posted in forever... and honestly, it has been too long. Since finishing college and getting a job, it has been a challenge to upload regularly and i seriously applaud anyone who is able to post more than once a week while working 9 to 5. So i figured it needed to be a yummy post to apologise for the lack of posts, and yummy it is.

Here's what i received:

Honeycomb Flapjack
This was amazing, it tasted better than any flapjack i've ever tried. It was so sweet and such a perfect snack size. I felt like i was really treating myself with this snack, and the portion size wasn't too small or too big.

The Graze Brownie
Surprisingly i enjoyed this, i wasn't sure if i would as it did look quite dark chocolate. However the flavour wasn't too rich and was perfect with a cup of tea.

My Thai
I loved the chilli dip as i'm a big fan of sweet and spicy chilli, but there was something about the flavour of the crackers that really didn't float my boat. They had an unusual taste that i wasn't a fan of, so i did throw this in my Graze bin on the website (which is the best thing about Graze, you're never going to get a snack you disliked again).

Original Fruity Flapjack
Not quite as amazing as the honeycomb, but still very good. I think it was because it was healthly haha! I really enjoyed this though, and the seeds and fruit were a nice addition to a plain flapjack!

Overall i loved this box, and will 100% be getting another!

Have you tried Graze? And would you like to see what's inside my next box?

Naughty Chocolate treats!

S'mores!
Take one digestive biscuit and add two marshmallows on top. Pop it under the grill until they're nice and toasted, then add a couple of squares of chocolate and another digestive. Then squish them together to make an amazing melted marshmallow sandwich!

Nutella Hot Chocolate!
Sad when you finish your jar of chocolate spread? Well here's an easy idea to actually make you excited to reach the bottom of the jar. Heat up some milk and then add it to the jar. Give it a good stir around, and it produces an amazing hot chocolate!

These two treats are so effortless to make, but are the perfect naughty food for a night in! What do you think?

Have you got any recipes of your own you can share with me? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading! Xx
