Maple Holistics Ancient Clay Mask Review!

Who doesn't love a face mask? They are one of my favourite ways to relax in an evening, and they are the most essential product for any pamper night! Recently i was contacted by Maple Holistics to see if i wanted to review one of their products as they have a blogger connection sponsored by edumuch.com. I chose their Ancient Clay mask as it sounded right up my street!

The one thing that really stood out for me about this product is that it's made of 100% straight-from-the-source clay! You also have to mix the mask yourself, which really surprised me. The product is just a pot of dry clay which you then mix with water using the little scoops provided. This provides amazing benefits because as it isn't pre-mixed it means there are no nasty chemicals to preserve it, like there is in many other face mask brands. Plus you get a lot more product to use!

The mask is a mix of French Green Clay, Bentonite Clay, and Fuller’s Earth which i've now found out are quite expensive and superior clays, so i think that is amazing for the price you are paying! Each clay has different benefits that work in harmony to make your face feel and look really good! The French Green helps to absorb and remove impurities, Bentonite softly extracts skin toxins and Fuller's Earth works to remove blackheads and hydrate the skin. Doesn't that sound like the best facial cocktail ever?!

Overall i am so impressed with this face mask. I love the fact it has no nasty chemicals and ingredients in, and it leaves my skin feeling fab! It is the perfect product if i have been wearing heavy makeup, as i really feel like i'm getting a good skin detox. I would really recommend this product to you but also check out their website where you can get some free products to try yourself!

What do you think of this product? Do you love face masks?

Thanks for reading Xx

  2. This looks gorgeous! I feel like I'd make a horrible mess mixing my own face masks since I seem to get them everywhere at the best of times but I'd love to give this a go!
